Are all KAMINO pieces handmade?
Yes. Every piece is made by hand in small quantities. Because of this, you might notice tiny differences in shape, texture or finish. I see these as part of what makes each piece its own.
What materials do you use?
I mainly work with sterling silver, natural gemstones and freshwater pearls. You’ll find the exact materials used in the description of each piece.
Are the gemstones natural?
Yes, I work with natural stones, which means their colour, pattern and shape can vary. No two stones are completely identical and that’s exactly the point.
How do I take care of my jewellery?
Jewellery is made to be worn, but a little care will help it stay beautiful for longer. Avoid prolonged contact with water, perfume, cosmetics and chemicals, and store your pieces somewhere dry when you’re not wearing them.
Why does my silver jewellery change colour?
Sterling silver naturally oxidises over time and can become darker or slightly dull. This is completely normal and can usually be removed with a soft silver polishing cloth. Personally, I also love when silver develops a little character from being worn.
Can I wear my KAMINO jewellery in water?
Occasional contact with water won’t necessarily harm sterling silver, but I recommend taking your jewellery off before swimming, showering or visiting a sauna — especially pieces containing gemstones, pearls, silk or other delicate materials.
Will my piece look exactly like the one in the photo?
Not always — and I think that’s one of the nicest things about handmade jewellery. Natural stones vary, and handmade shapes are never perfectly identical. Your piece will follow the same design while having its own small differences.
What size should I choose?
Sizing information is included on each product page. If you’re unsure about a ring, bracelet or necklace length, feel free to contact me before ordering and I’ll help you choose.
Can I request a custom piece?
I occasionally make custom pieces when time and materials allow. If you have an idea, send me a message and tell me a little about what you have in mind.
Can I order a piece as a gift?
Of course. KAMINO pieces are made to become personal, so gifting one to someone you love feels especially fitting. You can also leave me a note with your order if there’s something you’d like included.
Where is KAMINO jewellery made?
Every KAMINO piece is handmade by me in Austria, from the first idea to the final polish.
